    I was very sad about the prop 8 debacle, but I wonder how much confusion was generated by voting "yes" for a negative?

    Yeah, you make such a good point. And it was a purposeful thing. The opponents took them to court to reword the description because it was so misleading.

    My first visit to your blog, and I was blown away by the eloquence of your analysis of our collective response to Obama's victory. As a middle-aged white southern guy , I still get a tear in my eye and don't expect that to change anyime soon.
